Mozambican Authorities Claim to have Identified Funders of Insurgency

Carta de Moçambique reports that Mozambican authorities have already identified six possible financiers of the insurgents. According to the report, of the six possible funders, three are based in the United Republic of Tanzania and three in Mozambique. Of those in Mozambique, the sources say, two are in the city of Maputo and one in the city of Pemba, the provincial capital of Cabo Delgado. Without revealing names, or the channels used to channel the funds, the sources explained that the improvement of operations in the North Operating Theater allowed reaching those targeted, due to the arrival of Rwandan and SADC troops, which have contributed with their intelligence.
